1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RecitID (“the Service”), operated by Vikolo Dynamics Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RecitID is a Quran recitation identification and reading application that provides:

• AI-powered audio identification of Quran recitations
• Quran reading with multiple layout options
• Translations in 38+ languages
• AI-generated verse insights and tafsir
• Daily Wisdom features
• Audio playback of Quran recitations

3. User Accounts

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems or bots to access the Service excessively
• Misrepresent Quranic content or use the Service to create misleading material
• Redistribute Quranic audio content obtained through the Service without proper licensing

5. Quranic Content

The Quran text, translations, and related content provided through the Service are sourced from established Islamic scholarship. While we strive for accuracy, we encourage users to consult qualified scholars for religious guidance. The AI-generated insights are supplementary and should not be considered authoritative religious rulings (fatwa).

6. Audio Recording

The detection feature requires access to your device's microphone. Audio is processed temporarily for identification purposes only and is not stored permanently. By using this feature, you consent to the temporary processing of audio as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain premium features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. RecitID currently offers the following plans:

• Monthly Starter — $6.99/month (auto-renewable), 3 hours Live Translation per month
• Annual Premium — $59.99/year (auto-renewable), 60 hours Live Translation per year

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

7.1 Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions after purchase.

7.2 Refund Policy

All purchases are processed and managed by the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple through their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly as all billing is handled by Apple.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and proprietary features, is owned by Vikolo Dynamics Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. Quranic text is in the public domain. Translations are used under licence from their respective copyright holders. Reciter audio content is licensed from authorised distributors.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that audio identification will be 100% accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should be verified with scholarly sources.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vikolo Dynamics Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
