Identify Quran reciters by voice.
RecitID recognises a reciter's voice across a library of 200+ reciters — alongside the surah and verse, in a single detection.
How it works
01
Record a clip
Tap Detect while the recitation is playing — from a speaker, a phone, a mosque PA, or a live reciter.
02
Capture the voice
RecitID isolates the reciter's voice from the clip — matching on who is reciting, not just what is being recited.
03
Match against 200+
The voice is compared against the reciter library. You get a name, a confidence score, and a tap-through to the reciter's profile.
What voice ID covers
- 200+ reciters in the voice library, including most major contemporary and classical voices.
- Works on any clear Quran recitation — a mosque PA, a car speaker, a YouTube video, or someone reciting in person.
- Returns the reciter, surah, and verse in one detection, each with its own confidence score.
- If the voice isn't in the library, the surah and verse still come through and you can play the verse back from a reciter you know.
- Tap the reciter's name to open their profile inside the app — short biography, notable recordings, and instant playback.
- Audio is processed in real time and discarded. Recordings are not stored or uploaded for retention.

FAQ
How do I find out who is reciting the Quran in a clip?
Open RecitID and tap Detect while the recitation is playing. The app returns the reciter's name, the surah, and the verse in one detection — you don't need to type anything.
How does RecitID identify a reciter by voice?
RecitID captures a short audio clip and matches the voice against a library of 200+ reciters, returning the reciter, the surah, and the verse in one detection.
Which reciters can it identify?
200+ reciters, including Mishary Al-Afasy, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Saad Al-Ghamdi, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Mahmoud Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi, Mustafa Ismail, and most major contemporary and classical reciters.
What if the reciter isn't in the library?
RecitID still identifies the surah and verse from any clear recitation. If the voice isn't a confident match, the app shows a lower score and you can still play back the verse from a reciter you do know.
How is this different from text matching?
Text matching tells you what is being recited. Voice identification tells you who is reciting. RecitID does both in parallel, so one tap returns the reciter, surah, and verse.
Is there a daily cap on the free plan?
The free plan has a daily cap to protect service quality. Pro plans remove the cap. Current limits are published in the App Store description and in the in-app paywall.
