How the Quran reciter finder works

Record a clip
Tap Detect while the recitation is playing, whether from a speaker, a phone, a mosque PA or a live reciter.

Capture the voice
RecitID isolates the reciter's voice from the clip. It matches on who is reciting, not just what is being recited.

Match against 300+
The voice is compared against the reciter library. You get a name, a confidence label, and a tap-through to the reciter's profile.
What the qari finder covers
- 300+ reciters in the voice library, including many well-known contemporary and classical voices.
- You can find a qari from any clear Quran recitation: a mosque PA, a car speaker, a YouTube video, or someone reciting in person.
- Returns the reciter, surah, and verse in one detection, with a confidence label on the reciter match.
- If the voice isn't in the library, the surah and verse still come through and you can play the verse back from a reciter you know.
- Tap the reciter's name to open their profile inside the app, with a short biography where one is available and, if their recitation is in the playback library, the option to set them as your default reciter.
- Your clip is sent for matching and deleted once the match completes. We keep no copy, it is never used for advertising, and it is never sold.

How do I find a qari by voice?
Open RecitID and tap Detect while the recitation is playing. The app returns the reciter's name, the surah, and the verse in one detection. You don't need to type anything.

RecitID captures a short audio clip and matches the voice against a library of 300+ reciters, returning the reciter, the surah, and the verse in one detection.
Which reciters can it identify?
300+ reciters, including Mishary Al-Afasy, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Saad Al-Ghamdi, Abdul Basit Abdul Samad, Mahmoud Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi, Mustafa Ismail, and many other well-known contemporary and classical reciters.
What if the reciter isn't in the library?
RecitID still identifies the surah and verse from any clear recitation. If no voice is close enough, the app says the reciter wasn't recognised instead of guessing, and you can still play back the verse from a reciter you do know.
How is this different from text matching?
Text matching tells you what is being recited. Voice identification tells you who is reciting. RecitID does both in parallel, so one tap returns the reciter, surah, and verse.
Is there a daily cap on the free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 30 reciter identifications a day, counted separately from verse detection. Monthly Pro and Annual Pro make reciter identification unlimited.
