Who is reciting?
This is the harder question, and the one other Quran apps leave unanswered. RecitID analyses the voice itself — a unique acoustic fingerprint — and matches it against 250+ reference reciters, so the Quran reciter finder can name a qari you have never heard before.
In our own held-out testing, RecitID named the right reciter on 29 of 30 clean six-second clips, and every time it was confident enough to show a name, the name was right. It degrades gracefully as noise and compression creep in, and where it is unsure it says so — High confidence, Likely match or Possible match — rather than guessing.
