Yes — RecitID identifies the surah and verse from any clear Quran recitation, and recognizes 250+ reciters by voice. It works with audio from speakers, phones, mosques, YouTube, car stereos, and more.

Audio detection and Live mode require internet. Quran reading works offline once content is cached.

Detection accuracy depends on audio quality. Clear audio with minimal background noise works best. You can try again with better audio conditions.

Your recording is sent to our servers to be matched against the Quran, then deleted once the match completes — we keep no copy, never use it for advertising and never sell it. Audio is processed by a secure third-party AI service for transcription only — it is not stored or used for training. We do not sell any user data.

Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including bookmarks, history, and subscription.
