Yes. RecitID identifies the surah and verse from any clear Quran recitation and recognizes 300+ reciters by voice. It works with audio from speakers, phones, mosques, YouTube, car stereos and more.

Audio detection and Live mode require internet. Quran reading works offline once content is cached.

The app listens for up to 15 seconds, often less, and matches what it hears against every verse of the Quran. Clear audio resolves faster.

Accuracy depends on audio quality, and clear audio with little background noise works best. Move closer to the sound or wait for a quieter moment, then try again.

Your recording is sent to our servers to be matched against the Quran, then deleted once the match completes. We keep no copy, never use it for advertising and never sell it. Yes. Tap the bookmark icon on any verse while reading (you need to be signed in). Your saved verses are in the Bookmarks section of the Quran tab.

Yes. Cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Premium features remain active until the end of your billing period.

We collect the minimum needed to run the service: your bookmarks and settings, basic usage analytics, and your email and display name if you create an account. We do not sell personal data. Audio and images are deleted after processing rather than kept. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Audio is sent to our servers and our processing providers only to recognise the recitation, then deleted once the match is done; providers may keep request data briefly for security and abuse monitoring. We do not sell any user data.

Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, bookmarks and history; a record of billing events is kept. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it first in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Yes. RecitID works like Shazam for the Quran. It uses AI to listen to a Quran recitation and tells you the surah, verse number and reciter.

Open RecitID and tap Detect while the recitation is playing. After listening for up to 15 seconds (often less), it names the exact surah and verse, along with the reciter.
