What RecitID records, what it stores, and account deletion.
Is my audio recorded or stored?
Your recording is sent to our servers to identify the verse or transcribe the speech, then deleted once that finishes — we keep no copy of it, and none of it is used for advertising or sold to anyone. The processing providers we route through may retain request content for a short period, up to 30 days in some cases, purely for security and abuse monitoring. Nothing is kept as a permanent recording, by us or by them. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full retention picture.
What data does RecitID collect?
Bookmarks, settings, and basic usage analytics. If you create an account, your email and display name. Personal data is not sold or shared.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. All traffic uses HTTPS. Credentials are handled via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or Firebase Authentication.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Settings › Account › Delete Account. Your account and all associated data are permanently removed.
