Why does it need microphone access?

RecitID uses the microphone to hear the recitation. The clip is sent to our servers to be matched against the Quran, then deleted as soon as the match completes — we keep no copy of it. The processing providers we route through may hold request content briefly for security and abuse monitoring. Your audio is never used for advertising and never sold.
