Biography

Wadee Hammadi Al-Yamani is a Yemeni Quran reciter who has recorded the complete Quran in the Hafs 'an 'Asim narration. His recordings are carried across the major Quran audio archives.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Science and Technology. In a July 2015 report, the Dubai daily Al-Bayan described him as working as imam of the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in Saad Al-Abdullah City, Kuwait. That Ramadan he led Taraweeh prayers at the Al-Rashidiya Grand Mosque in Dubai as part of the emirate's "Dubai Reciters" programme.
