What does the 'Related verse' chip mean?

When RecitID suspects a Quranic reference but isn't fully confident, it shows a subtle 'Related' chip with the verse reference. This appears when the speaker paraphrases or alludes to a verse without reciting it directly. In the current app the chip reads "Possibly:" followed by the reference, for example "Possibly: Al-Baqarah · Ayah 255".

Live uses three levels for Quran, from most to least certain:

1. "Quran" with a green check badge: the verse was recited and verified. You get the exact Arabic and a scholarly translation.
2. "Likely Quran" with a teal badge: probably the verse shown, but RecitID is less sure.
3. The "Possibly:" chip: only a reference. The speaker's own words stay as they are, translated live, and the chip points you to a verse that may be what they meant.

What to do with it:

1. Treat it as a pointer, not a quotation. The speaker may be explaining the verse in their own words.
2. To read the verse in full, open the Quran tab and go to that surah and ayah.
3. If you're reviewing the session later, the chip is still there on the session's review screen.

When you share or copy a transcript, the reference appears in brackets, as "[ Possibly: … ]", so readers can tell it apart from a verified quotation.

Good to know: the chip appears only when RecitID can't confirm the verse, for example when the speaker paraphrases or quotes only a few words, or there's a lot of echo. Sitting close to the speaker gives RecitID clearer audio, which helps it verify recited verses.
