Biography

Sheikh Haitham Al-Dakhin is a Yemeni Quran reciter who serves as imam of the Education City Mosque in Doha, Qatar. He memorised the Quran at sixteen, and recorded a complete recitation of the Quran with Qatar Foundation in 2021–2022.

Haitham Al-Dakhin grew up in a household devoted to the Quran: his late father was an imam and muezzin who had memorised the Quran, and as a child he went to the mosque with his father to learn it.

His complete Quran recording, the Education City khatma, was a joint project of Qatar Foundation and the Qatar Media Corporation's Quran radio station, and took about six months, with recording five days a week.
