Biography
Sheikh Salah Bukhatir is an Emirati Quran reciter and businessman who has led Ramadan prayers at the Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi Mosque in Sharjah for many years and chairs the Quran and Sunnah Foundation there. He recites in the Hafs an Asim narration and is the brother of nasheed artist Ahmed Bukhatir.
Bukhatir finished secondary school at Al-Orouba School in Sharjah and then studied in the United States, graduating from a college of science with a specialisation in industrial (factory) management. He began memorising the Quran during his studies and completed it after graduating, reading under Sheikh Maher Muhammad Amer and Sheikh Muhammad Nada.
