Biography
Mustafa Ismail (1905-1978) was an Egyptian Quran reciter from Mit Ghazal, Gharbia, celebrated for his command of the maqamat in mujawwad recitation. Appointed reciter of the royal palace by King Farouk, he recited in some twenty-five countries and left more than a thousand recordings.
